Synchronizing Two Distinct Nano‐Circular Sliding Motions in Six‐Component Machinery for Double Catalysis

نویسندگان

چکیده

The heteroleptic six-component double slider-on-deck system DS3 exhibits tight coupling of motional speed two distinct nano-circular sliders (k298 = 77 and 41 kHz) despite a 2.2 nm separation. In comparison, the single in DS1 DS2 move at vastly different 1.1 vs. 350 kHz). Synchronization motions remains even when one slows movement faster slider using small molecular brake pads. contrast to individual systems, is powerful catalyst for two-step reaction by motion both drive catalytic processes.

Anti-synchronizing Sliding Controller Design for Identical Pan Systems

The anti-synchronization of identical Pan systems (Pan, Xu and Zhou, 2010) has been investigated in this paper and new results have been derived by sliding mode control. In this paper, we first derive a general result for the anti-synchronization of identical chaotic systems. As an application, we derive antisynchronizing sliding controller for identical Pan systems. A numerical example using M...

Glutaredoxin catalysis requires two distinct glutathione interaction sites

Glutaredoxins are key players in cellular redox homoeostasis and exert a variety of essential functions ranging from glutathione-dependent catalysis to iron metabolism. The exact structure-function relationships and mechanistic differences among glutaredoxins that are active or inactive in standard enzyme assays have so far remained elusive despite numerous kinetic and structural studies. Here,...

Charge equilibration between two distinct sites in double helical DNA.

DNA assemblies containing a pendant dipyridophenazine complex of Ru(II) along with two oxidative traps, a site containing the nucleoside analog methylindole (5'-GMG-3') and a 5'-GGG-3' site, have been constructed to explore long-range charge transport through the base pair stack. With these chemically well defined assemblies, in combination with the flash/quench technique, formation of the meth...

Protein motions and dynamic effects in enzyme catalysis.

The role of protein motions in promoting the chemical step of enzyme catalysed reactions remains a subject of considerable debate. Here, a unified view of the role of protein dynamics in dihydrofolate reductase catalysis is described. Recently the role of such motions has been investigated by characterising the biophysical properties of isotopically substituted enzymes through a combination of ...

Network of coupled promoting motions in enzyme catalysis.

A network of coupled promoting motions in the enzyme dihydrofolate reductase is identified and characterized. The present identification is based on genomic analysis for sequence conservation, kinetic measurements of multiple mutations, and mixed quantum/classical molecular dynamics simulations of hydride transfer. The motions in this network span time scales of femtoseconds to milliseconds and...
